This page explains which personal data Northbird processes, why we process it, and which rights and choices you have.
Who is responsible?
Northbird (KvK 42164736) is responsible for the processing of personal data through northbird.nl. For privacy questions or requests, email info@northbird.nl.
What data do we process?
When you use the contact form, we process the information you enter, such as your name, company name, email address, selected service and message. We do not ask for special-category data such as health data or a national identification number, so please do not include such information.
Why do we process this data?
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal or appointment and, if you become a client, provide our services. Limited technical data may also be processed for website security and abuse prevention.
Legal basis
For enquiries, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. For website security and abuse prevention, we may rely on our legitimate interests. For Google Analytics, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
Contact form and service providers
The website uses Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and security. When you submit the contact form, the information you enter is sent directly to FormSubmit for delivery to our mailbox. FormSubmit processes the necessary contact and message data as our form-delivery provider. Copies may remain in our mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry.
Retention
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Standalone enquiries are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up. If an enquiry leads to a contract, statutory retention periods may apply.
Cookies and analytics
Northbird uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the website and where we can improve it. The Analytics tag is only loaded after you consent in the cookie notice. If you do not consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. After consent, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and process technical and usage data. You can change your choice later via Cookie settings in the footer. Website fonts continue to be served locally from northbird.nl.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We only share data when necessary for the website or our services, for example with hosting and form-delivery providers, or when required by law.
Your privacy rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal data. In certain circumstances you may also object to processing. Send requests to info@northbird.nl. We may request additional information if needed to verify that a request comes from the correct person.
Security
We use appropriate technical measures including HTTPS, security headers and limited form processing. No internet service is completely risk-free, so please report a suspected security or privacy issue as soon as possible by email.
Complaints
If we cannot resolve your concern, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes
We may update this privacy notice when our website or processing changes. The latest version will always be available on this page.
